Quilting the Crystal Chasm Machine Quilting Class with Kirsten Chapman
Monday Sep 26 and Thursday Sep 29 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
This machine quilting class will give you great quilting designs for your Crustal Chasm quilt OR for any quilt with squares and two sizes of borders. You will get some great designs that you can use in a lot of different applications and we will talk about taking your borders to a whole new level by quilting “outside the box”!!! And you’ll learn to finish your quilt with a magic binding.
Come with your quilt sandwiched and ready to quilt, and all the thread colours you want to use for your quilting. If you have questions about sandwiching, please email me.
Prerequisite: Lucille’s Beginner’s quilting class or basic confident freemotion skills. You must have a good working knowledge of doing free motion work on your machine and have an extension table for your machine.
Tools: 12 inch quilting ruler, clover chalk marker that will show on your fabric, notebook, pencil and eraser to draw patterns
