Gardom Lake Retreat (Spring)

The Thread & Paper Spring 2023 retreat will be happening April 27-30th, at Gardom Lake. We are so excited to be back sewing with all of you. Please find our face book group “Thread & Paper Quilt Retreats” if you are on Facebook.

You can plan arrive Thursday any time after 10am, your retreat fee includes dinner on Thursday, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. We would like to have everyone cleared out by 3:00 on Sunday afternoon.

Moving forward we will have one price for everyone (no early/late price) the price will be $375, we do appreciate everyone getting their $50 deposit down early, and we have reached maximum capacity in the past, so its a good idea to have it done and hold your spot.

When you put your $50 non-refundable deposit down, it is non-refundable, not for cash, not for store credit, or anything else. This holds your spot in the retreat and comes off the final price. Full payment is due 1 month before the retreat.

We are counting on having a large group this time, and because Gardom Lake has expanded their kitchen, bathrooms and other common areas they are able to accommodate more people.  More people, more fun, more jokes, more inspiration! 

We will have some people quilting upstairs and some downstairs, and there will be some people in cabins and some in the lodge. The first 30 people who sign up will be upstairs and sleeping in the lodge, everyone after that will be sewing downstairs and sleeping in a cabin. The cabins are lovely and they have their own bathrooms so there really is no advantage or disadvantage to where you sleep or sew. The food is delicious and the company is great, everyone who is out there is there to have a good time with a positive attitude. 

There will be no private rooms available but sometimes it is possible to book a private cabin for a $50 fee, otherwise count on sharing a room with 4-5 other people, as always we will take requests so you can sew and room with your friends.

Please make sure we have a current email address for you, as this is how we send out our reminders and supply lists just before the retreat.
